Da Vinci painting reveals hidden grocery list

"Oregano, shallots, gunpowder, pulleys, twine, cadaver, sketch pad"

An art historian announced that a famous painting by Leonardo Da Vinci contains a brief list of grocery items, painted over by the artist himself.

The list contained asparagus, chianti and some other household items. Curators are currently debating whether to restore the list or keep the painting of an Italian woman intact.

“It gives us a lot of insight into what he was thinking, what he might have been cooking later that day,” said Gail Soren, director of the Djanque Museum of the Arts.
